<p class="title">Exhibitor Service Requirements</p>
<p><span class="bld">NON-INFLAMMABLE MATERIALS:</span> All materials used in the Exhibit Hall, Ballroom or any other room of the Hotel MUST be non-inflammable to confirm with the Fire Regulations of C.T., N.J. & N.Y.S. Electrical wiring and equipment installation must conform to appropriate C.T., N.J. & N.Y.S. Codes. Material not conforming with such regulations will be removed immediately at the exhibitor's expense. Engines, motors or any kind of equipment may be operated only with the consent of the Director of Engineering of the Hotel and show Management.</p>
<p><span class="bld">SPECIAL NOTICES:</span> No nails, or bracing wires used in erecting displays may be attached to building without written consent of the Director of Engineering at the Hotel. All property destroyed or damaged by exhibitors must be replaced in its original condition by the exhibitor or at the exhibitor's expense.</p>
<p>All material and equipment furnished by the Hotel on this order to remain its' property and to be removed by The Hotel after close of show.</p>
<p>The Electrical General Foreman is obligated to refuse connections where wiring is not in accordance with the State and local electrical codes.</p>
<p><span class="bld">LIABILITY:</span> The Hotel will not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage that may occur to the exhibitor, the exhibitor's employees or property, or to any other person, prior, during. or subsequent to the period covered by the exhibit contract, provided said injury, loss or damage is not caused by the wilful negligence or wrongful act of an employee of the Hotel. Each exhibitor expressly releases the Hotel from such liabilities and agrees to indemnify the Hotel against any and all claims for such injury,loss or damage.</p>
<p>INSURANCE: Exhibitors who desire to carry insurance on their exhibits must place it at their own expense.</p>
<p class="title">FIRE EXIT</p>
<p class="bld">FIRE DEPARTMENT ENFORCED REGULATIONS:</p>
<p class="bld">ALL DOORS & OPENINGS ON OFFICIAL FLOOR PLAN MUST BE KEPT CLEAR.</p>
<p class="bld">FIRE ALARM BOX AND FIRE EXTINGUISHERS MUST BE VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES.</p>
<p class="title">ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS</p>
<p>The rates include only the bringing of the power lines to the booth in a manner most convenient to the Engineering Department and the connection of equipment to these lines, provided that the equipment has the power plugs or connectors to conform to our power lines. All other material and labor necessary to make proper connection will be changed in addition to the outlet charge.</p>
<p>Any requests received during the set up dates will be handled only once all other orders have been completed, and are subject to availability of manpower and materials. All such orders will be charged at the late order rate and may be subject to overtime rates for manpower.</p>
<p>This order must be received by the Hotel no later than 15 days before opening date to insure installation in time for opening of the show. No spring type clamp spot fixtures will be allowed. Only fixtures with screen-in type clamps allowed with No. 14-3 wire S.J. Cord.</p>
<p><span class="bld">WIRING REGULATIONS BASED ON THE STATE AND LOCAL ELECTRICAL CODES.</span></p>
<p>All electrical apparatus and splices must be installed in a metal enclosure to prevent emission of sparks. </p>
<p>All metal raceways, metal lighting fixtures, metal housings of electrically powered equipment shall be grounded.</p>
<p>All extension cables shall be 3 wire SJ cord or other approved type and not more than 20ft. long. One of the wires with green colored insulation is to be used as a ground. The cable must be large enough for the load and have a grounded male plug.</p>
<p>Flexible cords and cables less than No. 14 gauge wire shall not be permitted. The use of lamp cord, cube taps or similar devices are not permitted.</p>
<p><span class="bld">SPECIAL NOTICE!!</span></p>
<p>The Hotel requires that no electrical equipment or apparatus can be connected unless it conforms to its electrical code. The Hotel will supply an electrician to correct any minor infractions at stated labor cost.</p>
