Davler Media Group Acquires Mommybites

Davler Media Group (DMG), the integrated marketing group behind a rich portfolio of digital, print and events media targeting New York area parents and visitors, acquired Mommybites, a fast growing digital and social community for quality parenting resources, support and education.  The announcement was made by David L. Miller, Chief Executive Officer of Davler Media Group.

Founded in 2006 as a grassroots event company for Manhattan moms by Laura Deutsch, Mommybites has grown to become one of the largest social educational communities for moms in New York and beyond. In 2009, Deutsch partnered with Heather Ouida to expand the reach of Mommybites with a new website and social media arms to promote its popular offerings including its tele-classes, webinars, radio shows, videos and blogs which are now sponsored by leading advertisers including Motts, Britax, Happy Family, Buy Buy Baby, Lansinoh, The Honest Company and Babies R Us.  Mommybites’ novel mom-generated Nanny Board lists over 100 new full and part-time nannies monthly looking for work, all with built in references from the families who have previously employed them.  Other offerings include free online parenting classes and podcasts, a weekly newsletter, and a library containing hundreds of parenting articles from experts, plus more. The company also hosts numerous live events, in New York and with its affiliate in Boston, where hundreds of parents can have access to experts and resources and a supporting community of other moms and dads facing the challenges and joys of raising children.
